Vision / Project

Our vision revolves around three major axes:

Mission

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” – Matthew 5:6

From the start of this project, it seemed natural to us: the mission is the top priority.
As we spent time  in fasting, praying, meditating, and in reflection for the elaboration of an action plan, we gradually realized that we are called to a greater challenge.

The building we are planning to acquire is intended for a much greater purpose than simply welcoming brothers and sisters to services on Sabbath morning or at prayer meetings.

This building aims above all to be a tool serving the mission, a tool which will make it possible to develop and increase the scope of the actions already implemented at PISDAC to respond to the call of God:

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” – Matthew 28:19

Mission, YES, But how?

We are committed to developing concrete and practical actions around the following three axes:

1) Respect for spiritual, moral and physical balance via the 8 Laws of Health

Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Corinthians 6:19,20

We want to help men and women achieve optimal health by implementing actions and workshops around the 8 health laws: Nutrition – Exercise – Water – Sunlight – Temperance – Air – Rest – Trust in God.

2) Love to our fellowman

“Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ Matthew 22:37-39

We want to help our fellowmen by meeting their physical, psychological and social needs. This project notably includes the creation, for example, of a solidarity grocery store, an administrative assistance office, school support, and assistance with professional reintegration …

3) The proclamation of the gospel

“And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’– Matthew 10:7

We wish to help our neighbor to achieve spiritual health thanks to the evangelization actions already implemented at PISDAC (opening up the French-speaking world to the wealth of English-speaking preaching, street evangelization,…), we wish to be able to welcome souls entrusted by God and accompany them on their spiritual journey.

God calls us to be workers totally committed to his cause by putting our talents and our gifts at the service of Master! “ARISE LET US BUILD”!

Autonomy

This new place is designed to be completely independent from the resources necessary for its operational functioning. In this way, a larger part of the generosity of the members could be used for the advancement of the kingdom of God in Paris. « Go by everyone, and preach the good news to all creation » – Mark 16:15

Independance

In 10 years, from a group of around ten members, PISDAC has evolved to constitute itself as a real church. Today more than 80 members and 15 nationalities come together to worship God. This blessing from the Lord leads us to take a look at the future as regards the present and future development of PISDAC.

With this in mind, PISDAC needs premises that can be adapted to its new challenges now and in the future.

PISDAC is committed to bringing this growth and this dynamism by becoming a real center of attractiveness adapted not only to the service of its members but also to the service of the neighboring community.

We therefore plan to acquire a building:

  • Located in Paris
  • Ensuring us a free and total use
  • Adapted to the growing number of members and visitors
  • Designed and equipped for the mission

LET’S TALK NUMBERS

Our building will have a mixed use: Church and residential.

Thanks to the income from the residential part, the building will be financially self-sufficient and the offerings will be used exclusively for the mission. Following the analysis of the buildings that could potentially correspond to the new place of worship of PISDAC, we note a acquisition of around € 7,000 / m2 HD (before negotiation).

FULL OWNERSHIP
Surface 700 m2
Price €/m2 (HD) 7 000
Heavy Works €/m2 1 500
Total Acquisition Cost (Notary Fees and Due Diligence cost included) 5,5 md’€
Heavy Works (technical expertises included) and Interior 1,5 md’€
Total budget 7 md’€

7 million euros is the overall budget for the acquisition of our next place of worship in the heart of Paris. An ambitious project? Yes!
But we can rest assured that God agrees with our plan, and we trust his promise « Put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts. » And you will see if I do not open the skies of heaven for you, If I do not pour out the blessing on you in abundance »

The building object of the acquisition will therefore be a tool for achieving this vision.
We pray that God inspires us and work in this direction.

WHERE ARE WE / WHERE ARE WE GOING ?
